We are coming, as a population, to realize and even embrace the idea of modest, sustainable living. Today’s home builders are catering more and more to the environmentally conscious home owner. Homes for the future are being built today with green technologies such as:

1) Photovoltaic (PV) roof integrated solar electric power systems: Think solar energy panels, but with more style. Photovoltaic (PV) roof integrated solar electric power systems are so named because they do more than generate power from the sun.

One Of The Most Effective Green Living Miracles Is Baking Soda

01311705390_11.jpgIs living green something you have been considering? You can find people talking about the planet in newspapers, on the radio and all over the news. One of the hottest issues that you hear about everyday is alternate fuel options for cars, especially with the price of gas these days. With the amount of pollution throughout our planet, one other question is what can be done to deal with our latest pollution problem. The green living message is being disseminated so it is making many businesses to modify the way they have always done business. These businesses have had to become more aware of the effect of their business practices and the effect it has on the environment.

Now, baking soda has been an all natural product ever since it was produced, and it forever remain so. Remember that baking soda is all natural and is also cheap and can be used for many applications. While majority of people are aware that baking soda can be used for cleaning, some have realized it can further be used for brushing their teeth. Baking soda mixed with water into a paste is great for scrubbing clean tile, counters, sinks, tubs, and even garbage cans. Living Green and Saving Money: 3 Green Living Tips That Will Save You Money

21311702944_livinggreen.jpgCan going green actually save you money? Maybe you are not convinced of that. If so, that would be entirely understandable. Without a doubt, there are a number of consumer items promoted under the “Green Living” rubric that cost more than comparable “non green” items. Evidently, there are enough consumers who are willing to pay a premium for products labeled “green” that marketers can make a good living selling various items this way.
But you don’t have to follow that crowd. In fact, establishing a greener lifestyle can actually save you money if you go about it the right way.
My focus is very much on how consumers can save money as they go green. And it makes sense to create your green lifestyle this way. Cutting back on energy use, conserving water, driving your car less, and buying certain items second-hand are all actions that reduce your consumption of resources. Why should that cost you more?
In fact, it doesn’t. Here are 3 tips for living that greener lifestyle that are guaranteed to save you money.
1) Replace all incandescent light bulbs with compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs). CFLs use only one-quarter of the energy of an incandescent and last up to 10 times longer. It is easy to understand why. Incandescent light bulbs convert only about 3-5% of the energy they consume into light. The rest is dissipated as heat. Incandescent bulbs are essentially little heaters that happen to generate some light. Because CFLs generate less heat, using them will reduce your cooling costs in the summer. Another advantage of CFLs is the following: although the earliest version of CFLs did not work with dimmers switches, the more recent versions will.
2) Buy power strips to switch off electronics when they are not in use. Most people probably do not remember the days when you switched on a television set and then waited 30 to 60 seconds for it to warm up and turn on. Nowadays, we have the instant-on feature, which become so much a part of our modern world but which costs us in so-called “vampire power.” Why? Because in order to deliver the immediate gratification of instant-on, the device (television, radio, computer, etc.) must stay in a constantly warmed-up mode, and it must continually draw a little bit of power to accomplish this.  Electronics have become so pervasive that this vampire energy draw is estimated to account for around 10 percent of residential energy use in the United States. By plugging your electronics into a power strip that can be switched on and off, you can cut the power completely, saving all that energy drain. In addition to televisions and VCRs, computers and printers should be switched off at night or whenever you are not using them for an extended period of time.
3) Reduce hot water use by taking showers instead of baths. A bathtub will require 40-70 gallons of water to fill, and all of that water is heated. In contrast, a shower uses about 2 to 3 gallons of water per minute (less if you use a low-flow showerhead). A 7 minute shower, therefore, uses only 14 to 21 gallons of water. You get a double benefit, saving not just on water, but also on the energy required to heat that water.
These three simple steps are guaranteed to make your greener lifestyle cost you less, not more.

How to Get Safe Healthy Water in Your Eco Friendly Water Bottles

21310563688_eco-friendly-phones.jpgAre plastic bottles better than eco friendly water bottles?
Eco friendly bottles are a super way to carry water around. What are they?
As more and more of us are concerned about the impact that our ‘throw away’ attitude has on the environment, many of us have been turning to more products which are kind to the environment. In fact a whole new industry has grown in response to the ever increasing demand.
Some of the products that are now re-usable and safe to use are eco friendly water bottles and lunch boxes. These are made out of stainless steel.
However, an extremely good question to ask, is why use these great products for unhealthy food and drink?
Water particularly comes to mind when thinking about this question.
I use my bottle for carrying clean, filtered water and I know that by doing this the water I am consuming is safe and clean.

Celebrities setting green Trends in their Bathrooms

01310679889_runsonmoney.jpgMany trends are incubated in Tinsel Town. These fads spread like wildfire, having large masses of people scrambling for the new and coolest, “in thing.” Fortunately celebrities are using this trend power to create awareness for the green movement. The following celebrities are using their star power to create awareness for the green movement in the bathroom. One of the most wasteful places in the home.

Star signer Sheryl Crow and A list actor Will Smith are taking their toilet paper usage seriously. Sheryl crow uses one square at a time and advices all to follow her example. Will Smith has just recently purchased a high tech toilet, which uses sprays of water to carry out the toilet paper’s regular duties. Affording a high tech toilet may be out of your budget but conserving Toilet paper is a good idea. Try to purchase EPA approved toilet paper and recycled toilet paper. Seriously every square counts. In the United States alone we use over ten million tress just for toilet paper. Not to mention the dyes and chemicals used during the manufacturing process. These harmful chemicals leak into our environment creating a negative impact.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Jackie Chan, and Cameron Diaz are conserving water with every flush. Cameron Diaz lives by the credo, “if it’s yellow leave it mellow, if it’s brown flush it down.” Jackie Chan has his own twist on Diaz’s mantra, he flushes only once at the end of each day. Environmentally conscious trendsetter Leo spent over three thousand dollars on a low flow toilet. All these actors believe the public should follow their lead or at least be more conscious of the next flush. In the US the average person flushes twenty gallons of fresh water down the drain. There is really no need for such wasteful habits. There are toilets available that significantly cut down on the amount of water flushed. Dual flush toilets are prime example of one of these water conserving toilets. They can reduce water consumption by four thousand gallons per year.

Jennifer Aniston has limited her showers to 3 minutes. She explains that the every two minutes of showering uses as much water as an African has for one day. The average American spends eight minutes in the shower and the average shower head produces 2 gallons per minute. This comes to wasteful sixteen gallons of fresh water for cleaning ourselves. By following Jen’s lead we could all decrease the amount of time spent in the shower. Saving tons of our worlds most precious resource, water.

I couldn’t mention Jennifer Aniston with out mentioning Brad Pitt. Brad Pitt and wife Angelina Jolie have been providing millions of dollars for the reconstruction efforts in New Orleans post Katrina. Most of the funds are allocated toward building green homes complete with energy and water saving appliances and fixtures.

We may not have the money or the star power of these celebs but we can do our part to carry on there message. It only takes small steps towards a more Eco-friendly lifestyle.

Higher Consciousness

21310679889_eco-friendly-cleaning.jpgLiving in the third dimension can be a blissful experience when you have power, health, wealth, comforts and freedom. That’s what the ruling families have manifested for themselves while the rest of the world struggles with poverty, disease, drug dependency, debt and servitude. The ultimate goal of the ruling families is not only one world government. It is complete mastery over the 3rd dimension of time and space. Notice how successful they have been at manifesting a Utopian 3rd dimension for themselves – money, yachts, private jets, castles, resorts, racehorses, corporations, gold, gems, servants and everything they desire. You are part of their manifestation. You and the rest of the world are literally at their feet. How did they do it? With their knowledge of the tools of Creation and Universal Laws.
Unless you understand how reality is manifested, your destiny and the destiny of the planet will be in the hands of the ruling families who do understand it.
What do you think about? The answer is revealed by the life that you lead.

It is no doubt that the numbers of old Americans in nursing homes and long term care facilities has experienced a staggering increase, which is over 1.6 million. Adding to this figure is approximately one quarter of the total U.S. population which have access to checking services into one of these facilities. A Higher Standard?

In this day and age of unoriginality, the author asks whether it is time for us to actually live our lives for ourselves rather than for our parents and ancestors dreams and expectations. With the divorce rate as high as it is, with depression as prevalent as ever and dissatisfaction at an all time high, perhaps there is another way to live, a way to achieve a higher standard by thinking about the consequences of our actions. If you think your life is miserable or great, you are right. Life is whatever you think it is. The same is true for the state of the world. It is what humanity collectively thinks it is. Energy and all forms of matter attract like-vibrational energy. Our thoughts are energy magnets. They attract whatever we point them at.
Your thoughts are living things. When you step into a room full of people, you can sense the living atmosphere created by the collective thought waves of the people in the room. You may sense a calm or a tense atmosphere. The collective thought waves of the 6.5 billion people on Planet Earth also create an atmosphere and it affects everyone either consciously or unconsciously. Like the Borg in Star Trek, you can tune into this “collective consciousness” and broadcast ideas to others who will receive and act on them. You are a drop in the ocean of thought and the ocean of thought is in every drop.
The Universal Law of Attraction is working in your life right now. You are attracting the personal situations that you are experiencing. You are also attracting the global situations through your individual contribution to the collective mass consciousness. Think about what you are contributing. Once you are aware of this Universal Law and how it works, you can start to use it deliberately to attract what you want instead of what you don’t want.
Any thought you have, when combined with emotion, vibrates out from you to the universe. Like a boomerang, it returns whatever you focus on. All you have to do is allow yourself to expect what you want. Sounds easy, right? The hard part is becoming ‘doubt-free’. You must expect what you want without doubt, act like you already have it and be grateful for it. Like drops in the ocean, each and every person is individually responsible for their contribution to mass consciousness. By expecting a New World Order, an Antichrist, an Apocalypse and end times, your contribution to the collective consciousness is “dark”. Expect miracles. Expect a Golden Age.
When you assume 100% responsibility for everything you’re experiencing in your reality right now – absolutely everything – only then will you possess the power to alter your reality.
DECEMBER 12, 2012
The ruling families are in a race with time to manifest mastery over the third dimension…but something is happening “right now” that they hadn’t counted on. There is a transformation in human consciousness leading up to December 21, 2012. A ‘galactic alignment’ is expected to occur on that date which will mark the end of the 26,000-year Mayan calendar. Mayan timekeepers predict that Earth and humanity are being birthed into a dramatic and unified elevation in consciousness.
You are made up of billions and billions of “programmed” beliefs about what is real and what’s not real, what you should or shouldn’t be or wear or say or do. You have downloaded beliefs about how attractive you are, about your body, your intelligence, about God, sin, life after death, morality and class. You have been innundated with disaster scenarios about the future of humanity – a global depression, an apocalypse, Armageddon, end times, depopulation, nuclear war, an Antichrist ruler and other disempowering, fear mongering, toxic propoganda.
If you stop and look closely at your thoughts and beliefs, you will discover that instead of serving you, they serve the agenda of the ruling families. Although you may feel you are immune to religious and political propaganda, your immunity is overpowered by the repetition of messages that burrow into your subconscious just below your conscious radar.
The ruling families have taught you slave consciousness. You tick tock through life with alarm clocks, car clocks, work clocks, the TV clock, the cell phone clock, wrist watches, wall clocks and calendars. It’s “breakfast time”, “lunch hour”, “break time”, “traffic hour”, “news hour”, “happy hour”, “week end”, “dinner time”, “bed time”, “tax time. You sit in traffic, stand in line-ups, watch mind numbing TV trivia interrupted by endless commercials. You settle for a 14 day holiday out of the 365 days it takes for the Earth to circle the Sun. You trade your labor for digits at the bank. You celebrate birthdays, New Years, Valentine’s day, St. Patrick’s Day and countless other repetitive cycles of commercialized nonsense. From cradle to grave, you obediently tick-tock through life like an automaton, serving the ruling families. Despite the servitude, they have somehow convinced you that you are free. “None are so hopelessly enslaved as those who falsely believe they are free.” – Goethe
You have the power to influence matter and the physical world with just the power of your thoughts. It’s called ‘telekinesis’. YOU WERE BORN WITH THAT POWER. All you have to do is awaken your pineal gland or “third eye”. Like an atrophied muscle, this unused part of your brain can be strengthened through exercise and by eliminating fluoride from your toothpaste and water supply. Telekinesis is the same mind-over-matter power that the ruling families have been using since ancient times to manifest their power over you and over the physical world. How do you think the stone tonnage of Egypt’s Great Pyramids was cut, carved, moved long distances, erected and positioned within fractions of an inch? Some of the stones weighed as much as 50 tons! Do you believe the media tales about how these Herculean stones were moved without drills, explosives, lasers, forklifts, cranes or steel cables?
The term ‘psychic powers’ conjures up negative images of black magic, gypsies, witchcraft, exorcists, faith healing hoaxes and sorcery. That is the reputation the corporate media has given it. Why? To discourage your interest in developing your personal power. Like any skill, your psychic powers develop with regular use and they atrophy from lack of use.
In their book, China’s Super Psychics, Paul Dong and Thomas Raffill describe the amazing psychic abilities of gifted children. The American magazine Omni got involved when the children were being tested to make sure there was no cheating. They quickly became convinced that the children’s abilities were entirely real. In one case, a child took a sealed pill bottle off a shelf at random and placed it on a table. After a few moments the pills passed through the glass bottle and settled on the table. The child then placed a coin on the table and it passed back through the glass into the sealed bottle. In another case, a thousand people sitting in an auditorium were each given a rose bud to hold. A six year old girl came on stage and with a silent wave of her hand, the thousand rosebuds slowly opened into full bloom before the eyes of the astonished audience.
By practicing concentration exercises and telekinesis, you can learn the mechanics of manifestation. Once you discover that you can move an object with the power of your thoughts, you realize that you can influence matter at a molecular level. You have the power to influence everything in the physical world from a molecule to the entire globe with just the power of your thoughts. You have the power to heal yourself and the Earth. It starts with the belief that you can do it and then actually “doing it”! Learn how to manifest the reality you want instead of the reality that the ruling families are manifesting for you.

Green Living Can Be A Normal Part Of Life

11311705517_green-earth.jpgEach year our planet is becoming progressively polluted. Green living is a term used for describing a lifestyle led by people who want to save the environment. The option to switch to a green living lifestyle is something everyone must make for themselves. Some people feel that living green is a bad choice, and this is because of all the extremists that give green living a bad rap. There are numerous ways you can start living green without overdoing it and becoming a radical. If you want to begin following a greener way of life, you don’t need to start off using natural resources for your heat and electricity. You can discover very uncomplicated things that you can do on your own to begin sticking to a greener life. And if you instruct your kids these little things, it will become second nature to them, and it will continue to help the environment later on.Below you will find some simple steps to help you started. Normal light bulbs use more electricity and they don’t last as long as fluorescent bulbs, so you could start by switching your light bulb choice. While computers have become a tool that most people use, a laptop consumes a lot less power than your desktop computer does. If you’re not in a room, switch off the appliances and lights there. You should unplug any appliance you can if it is convenient, as some gadgets continue to use electricity even when they are turned off. Try to maintain your vehicle to keep it in excellent working condition, since it will burn less fuel than a vehicle that is not maintained. Correct tire inflation along with other scheduled maintenance will likewise help you conserve gas. If traffic stops for some time, turn your engine off, since you are going to save gasoline and reduce pollution. Likewise, if you’re at the drive-thru window at the bank, turn off your engine. The newer washing machines can not only save money and pollution by using less detergent, but they also use less water. You can truly save a good deal of heating fuel by just lowering your thermostat a bit. You can save quite a great deal of money annually by turning down your thermostat 1 or 2 degrees. Having your pipes insulated will save water, save money, and keep pipes from freezing in the winter. Switch over to the new low flow shower heads, as you can get good pressure without using as much water. A number of people are saving the planet without even thinking about it. Recycling is becoming something that many people are practicing to make a little extra cash. It shouldn’t be that difficult for people to put out less waste. How tough is it to reuse plastics, metals and paper products by dumping them in a nearby recycling facility?A lot of people don’t know that used batteries can be recycled instead of tossing them in the bin. Also by purchasing locally grown food, you can help bring down greenhouse gases, which are emitted when trucks have to take food across the country. Trees and plants help eliminate CO2, so if we all planted one tree, a good deal of carbon dioxide could be eliminated from our atmosphere. Green living calls for a good deal of little things that each one of us can do.A crucial area of green living that may change the world is by making use of alternative health remedies. Not only is it going to help your health to use herbs and organic foods, but eliminating chemical substances and pharmaceuticals is going to be great for the environment by lessening poisonous wastes. By taking small steps, like recycling, you can help the planet for our future generations.

Choosing Eco Friendly Products

f_21310680648_solarrooftop.jpgEco friendly products are a great way to start going green. It is a lot easier than you might think. If you make gradual adjustments to your lifestyle, you will barely notice the change. All you have to do is be more aware of how small changes can make a big difference.
Consider the environmental impact of the lifecycle of an item.

What is it made of? Are these materials natural and renewable? Or are they toxic and from a finite source?
How is it made? Does the process cause unnecessarily high levels of pollution? Is it tested on animals? Does the company do something to help reduce its environmental impact?
How is it used? Is it disposable? Is it energy efficient? Does it produce less waste?
